Years ago I visited India as a young woman and the experience permeated my soul in a way that I can’t quite put into words. This retreat is a full circle homecoming and I feel incredibly grateful for how its unfolded and that I get to share it with you! In late February of 2020 we will explore the city of Udaipur in Rajasthan “Land of Kings”. Udaipur, a blessed city of lakes, is dubbed as the most romantic city in all of India…
This retreat is all about celebrating each woman’s heart, dharma, creative gifts and joy. I can’t think of a more perfect way to visit this country together. A once in a lifetime opportunity.
Only 14 spots to keep the connection and container in harmony. Choose from a private king-sized bedroom or share a room with one other woman (two beds). All levels of experience welcome. My dear friend and gifted artist Cathy Nichols will also be assisting us on this retreat!
~ Accommodation at the 5-star palace Lakshmi (goddess of prosperity) hotel whose intention is inclusivity and pure love!
~ Breakfast and dinner (a plethora of choices from delicious Indian cuisine). You can choose your own lunch from a variety of options at the hotel.
~ All workshops with Alena, including intuitive painting, breath-work for vitality and clarity, meditation, movement, and abundance/joy circles.
~ A variety of culture explorations including visits to the local art shops where they paint with natural materials, local palace, Saree fittings and shopping, sunset boat ride, henna-painting, and more surprises!
~ One facial or coconut body scrub/wrap at the hotel’s spa. You may add on spa services if you wish.
~ Transportation to the hotel if arriving within a certain time frame (otherwise reasonable transportation can be arranged).
~ Bonus offering from Riddhi (a beautiful student and artist from India who now lives in London) and her mother who have generously invited us to their lake resort for 2-3 days after the retreat. This is an incredible blessing to visit India in a more intimate way from a lovely family who lives there!
Details from Riddhi: Food and accommodation for up to 10 people in Rajkot for 2-3 days for people who wish to stay longer. We will be able to arrange for a couple of cars to drive us around the city as well (Tuk Tuks are my personal favorite vehicle when visiting market areas with narrow streets)!
We will visit local temples and marketplaces, have Saree, Henna painting, and bangle adornments from local women artisans and try some delicious food at some of the city’s best restaurants…plus more painting!
