Courting balance: Autumn equinox is tomorrow 🍂 where day and night become equal in length. Balance is a key for me to live my best life, because I am so empathic that when there’s an area of my life out of balance it can drag down the other aspects. The media and everything we are fed is so out of balance right now that we have to take care of the moment right in front of us. If there’s any medicine at this time I would say it’s learning how to be more in the present moment. The future is shakily unknown and that can be scary as hell. Yet consider that’s what the earth and greater mysteries are desiring for us on the macro scale— to be so here now that we awaken during this time. Balance to me equals kindness towards oneself, all others, where less can be-more, more time for silence and that sweet territory it brings, movement, and even wild laughter. Yes balance can be abandon of one’s habitual ways of thinking and doing... court balance today and see what gifts it brings . It’s a delightful experiment. ✨🌸

There are a lot of new people here so I wanted to say hi and introduce myself! I’ve been a full time artist for over 15 years now, I’m also a Flower Essence and Reiki practitioner. I live in a Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina and have four books out on creativity, painting and flower essences. I’m a Capricorn sun with Leo moon and rising and Venus in Pisces ♓️— therefore lover of the deep woo and stars. Write a new love story to yourself. 🌑🌸🤍 We have been conditioned not to love ourselves, to critique our lives and life itself--ironically through the same consciousness in others that does not love themselves. But the fundamental reality is that this can be heaven on earth... in every way possible. It's really quite simple. The revolution I see happening is to remember to love yourself wholeheartedly and to renew this relationship everyday. To choose joy boldly, with clarity, and to remember who we are and who we can be in every moment. With each other, with the earth, animals, and always within ourselves. We are beings, not doers. Be in love and be free. This is how to overcome this battle externally that was never meant to be your story.
