Sometimes its difficult to capture the metallic essence and undertones in a painting, and yet this does—my love of gold paint so much. It’s the warm light, those Mexican earthy hues I’ve come to adore. I’m back in the mountains and it feels crisp and cool before we head to beloved #firenze / #toflorencewithlove 🧡 retreat. Life is tender, life changes quickly, and also there’s a steadiness—that’s why I always seek the light in nature. I seek it in myself, in water, in my food. Finallly! I got to work large—inspired by the landscape here. The peacocks, twilight, the murmuration celebration at sunset. (brings tears to my eyes). How I found gallery wrapped canvas in the middle of a small village is a story I will share later, but it’s one wrapped in synchronicity and divine guidance—for that which I am deeply appreciative of.
