You are warmly invited to come to my custom retreat residences + sparking studio to restore your spirit beyond. This eco-luxury artist residency home nestled within the hundreds of acres that is the Musa community (includes 5 star hotel, multiple pools, water temple, regenerative gardens + more). Casa Ollin + Artist Studio is a mini retreat space that includes a yoga deck. The energy of this place is pure bliss. Just imagine glorious sunrise, sun and moonsets each evening… whales breaching, turtles hatching, copal burning. A once in a lifetime opportunity. Overflow participants will stay in a gorgeously designed hideaway (just as equipped, with kitchen, showers, and luxury beds around the biopool). Every property on Musa is 5 star eco- and design oriented (listed in Forbes, National Geographic and more as one of the most beautiful hotels and resorts in the world).
Please note: Spaces are limited and both residency retreats are kept small. This will provide opportunity for a deep dive into whatever you are wanting to create, whether it’s a painting series that stuns and is true to your vision (and discovering with Alena what that vision is), arts business, and yes unlocking the codes and mysteries of the universe with the temple of your being. We are made for these times to recover, heal, and shine from our higher self.
“Before heading to our week-long retreat at MUSA with Alena Hennessy and a beautiful group of inspiring women, there was a part of me that felt caged like a pacing tiger behind a glass wall in a zoo. Yes, that part was feeling the angst of constricting routines, ruts, to do’s, responsibilities, norms, expectations, shoulds. And even though my Heart said Yes to the initial retreat invitation, I had been hesitating to actually go all in and buy my plane ticket and ask my husband to do everything needed for our son because it felt like a lot to ask of my family. But ultimately, it was that pacing tiger part of me that made me actually take the leap. I just knew I needed to give this part of me a chance to Bust Out and re-wild on this adventure. And I trusted that my whole family would benefit from what my Heart was guiding me to do.
Well let’s just say that the whole Retreat experience exceeded all of my highest hopes. First of all, I couldn’t believe my eyes when we landed in Alena’s home in MUSA—so artful, luxurious, and connected with nature. It seemed like I had stepped into the lived reality of a dreamy image I would have cut out of a magazine and placed on my Vision Board. My own private open-air outdoor shower with breeze blowing through the palm trees, a deck for yoga awaiting us each morning next to a pool to cool us down, a painting studio just a few steps away, an outdoor kitchen and living room for hang time in the sunshine—all of this felt like a dream.
But it was the wide open, mostly undeveloped, expansive beach with inviting ocean waves, majestic mountains, and HUMPBACK WHALES breaching that really set me free. Sunrise walks and meditations on the beach with all the birds started my day and stargazing and swimming were my nightcap. And in between, the days were an easeful blissful flow of yoga, painting, cacao ceremony, dancing, walking through the regenerative garden, and feasting on Mexican fiesta group meals. A lasting memory will always be leading a Spirited Improv Playshop for the group on the top deck in connection with the Whales that we could see breaching in the ocean—we improvised songs and messages to and from the whales as part of our improv experience. That was a total WOW for my whale-loving Soul!
My experience could be summed up in the moment under the full moon, when I dropped my clothes on the sand, and ran naked into the ocean yelling “No caged tiger for me! This tiger is FREEEEEEE!!”

What’s Included:
- Accommodation at the 5 star eco-resort of Musa (a private bedroom + bathroom).
- Mentoring and personalized lessons with Alena for uninterrupted studio time. This priceless experience will expand your skill and fulfillment as artist with (and arts business as an option).
- Transportation to Musa.
- A day at the award winning Playa Viva resort (Michelin keys restaurant, regenerative farming and yoga paradise). This includes 3 incredible meals + yoga class. So divine!
- Ceremonia de Cacao with Alena’s favorite diosa and ritualist Adriana.
- An adventure to local market of the Zihuatenejo (riviera town and a Puebla Magica).
- Some art supplies provides from Alena as well.
- There will also be some light breakfast, fruit, drink, and snack items in the main kitchen for you to enjoy. Please note: You are responsible for all other meals at the dreamy restaurant Alma (quite affordable).
- A few more surprises. This is the land of ceremony, wildness, and color.

The weather will warm during the day to 68 to 88 on the Pacific Coast. This is the glorious sun-filled tropics!
How to get here:
Getting to this area is easy! You fly straight into the cute airport of ZIH (Near the Mexican riviera resort town of Zihuatanejo – which is the famous landmark of the ending of the film the Shawshank Redemption). From the States, Alena recommends a layover in one of the major Texas airports and then straight into ZIH. From the West Coast, it is even easier!
