SoulPainting India – Sold Out
$799.00 – $3,049.00
Delight in the potent and other-worldly experience of India with kindred company. Our retreat will take place in the Venice of the East ~ the city of Udaipur in Rajasthan “Land of Kings”. Udaipur, a blessed city of lakes, is dubbed as the most romantic city in all of India. It has a long rich history of folk dances, crafts, and fine miniature painting (with natural paints). My dear friend and gifted artist Cathy Nichols will also be assisting us on this retreat! >>> Read more about Soul Painting India here.
Dates: February 24 – March 1, 2020. With an option to add on two more nights at a lake resort with Alena, Riddhi and her mother (artists from India attending the retreat). This is also a beautiful opportunity to experience the warmth and generosity of Indian hospitality.
Location:
Fly into Maharana Pratap Airport and a driver from the hotel will pick you up.
The venue is a palace turned 5-star hotel. The resort is rooted in traditional Indian culture, yet it possesses all the modern comforts that a guest can ever think of. Even as you decide to tour the hotel, you will be quite enamoured by the Rajasthani relics which are on full display along the corridor of the hotel.
Since the Laxmi resort is perched on a hilltop, it offers a spectacular view of the surrounding area in addition to the Fateh Sagar Lake and the Aravalli Hills. The rooms that form an integral part of the hotel exude grandeur and opulence. They have light cream colored walls and are tastefully decorated with stunning and priceless paintings and artifacts. Every night during dinner you can enjoy sunset over the hills and lake, along with live music and folk dance.
Spread across a massive 23 acres, this resort also possesses an enormous swimming pool that offers a beautiful view of the hills surrounding it. The resort also possesses a fine dining restaurant as well as a bar and a spa.
